Today, I am going to take a look at the exciting game of roulette. I have to take this opportunity to share with you that I love this game. I always have and probably always will too. I used to play roulette at a regular land based casino, but in more recent years, I moved online. Rolling the roulette wheel online is the convenient way to play.
I don’t know about you, but I feel that there is an almost magical attraction to the roulette game - thrill and anticipation all revolving around one simple concept. At the press of a button, a piece of this rotating action can be yours.
Let’s access some spinning fun at the game of European Roulette. All the glamour of the popular roulette game has been rolled into an online attraction. In this article, I will outline how this simple game works.
Roulette is believed to have evolved from a game in France in the seventeenth century and certainly has experienced some changes along the way. Since its invention, roulette has become a popular form of entertainment and is now played around the globe. I am sure that its creator, mathematician, Blaise Pascal, would be rather surprised, although proud, to see the online versions of the roulette game available today via the Internet.
Simplicity is the name of this game in my mind. Based on chance - all you have to decide is upon which number to place your bet. Give it a try.
The main aspect worthy of note in European Roulette is that the online table and wheel contain a single zero. This game provides better odds than the American Roulette game which includes a double zero. In the European version, there are 36 red and black numbered compartments and one section hosting a zero.
How to Play
In European Roulette, bets are placed in the betting area of the roulette table next to the roulette wheel. The small ball is then released into the dial and the roulette wheel begins to spin. Once the roulette comes to a standstill, the ball settles in one of the numbered spaces and winnings, if any, are paid out accordingly. It is as simple as that!
Real Time Gaming’s version of European Roulette provides realistic sound effects and bright graphics to enhance the player’s online roulette experience. Once you set the wheel in motion, you can hear the noise of the ball spinning around with the movement of the roulette dial. The ball then bounces until it finds its resting place in one of the roulette sections. So that there will be no doubt, the winning number and position is then shown on the top right hand side of the screen.
What are you waiting for? Spin into a European Roulette game and enjoy some great entertainment.

Most beginners arrive at the casino slots with a multitude of misunderstandings in mind. The main one is the way in which a slot should be chosen. Sure, they all slots differ in terms of symbols, style and jackpot amounts, and this is what makes them attractive. And so, this is usually what dictates to a beginner which machine to choose. However, this is a major mistake. I shall save you from making that mistake right now!
The first consideration for any slot when you start out is the type of machine you are going to use. Understanding the different types available means that you don’t make any mistaken bets such as over priced coin limits, accidental max bets and so on. Knowing your machine is half the battle won, the rest is up to chance. You should choose your slot by type first. Then think about the flashy bits.
First up; the progressive jackpot. This is a slot which changes its jackpot payout in accordance with the amount it is played. This does not affect when the payout occurs, but does up the amount that can be won. The progressive slot offers the big money. Every time someone plays it the jackpot amount grows. When it is won, it resets; simple. However, don’t be fooled; the progressive jackpot amount can only be won if the player has opted for the maximum possible bet. Otherwise, the player wins a set amount and the progressive jackpot continues.
Next; the multi-spin slot. This is for hardcore slot players who want fast action and are willing to play big! These slots have several reels which can be held whilst the remaining slots are spun. An auto hold function is usually used as standard, though the computerised selection can be removed easily if wanted. Bear in mind though that the auto function holds the best reels for you! The multi-spin slots have more payout combinations, so get your teeth around them before you start.
And finally? Multi-line slots. These are made up of, as the name states, multiple lines which can each show a winning combination. However, only the activated lines will pay so make sure you bet correctly. Sometimes there are special symbols that do not have to be on the activated payline. These will create a bonus round or free spin, so look out for these on slots to get better value.
Once you have decided the type of slot that would be most fun and the best for you to play, then take a look at the themes. You can now take notice of the flashing lights and picture symbols, and safe in the knowledge that you’ve made the best possible decision.

There’s a common misconception that the object of the game Blackjack is to get as close to 21 as possible. This could not be farther from the truth. The actual goal in Blackjack is to beat the dealer-plain and simple. Players who go in with the mentality of getting close to 21 are possibly in for disaster. There are many times when 13,14,15,16 and so forth will win just fine. Many times you just have to stand pat and let the dealer bust. Today, I am going to briefly go over the procedure for playing Blackjack at a table with multiple players.
First, it’s important to know how many decks the game is played with. Blackjack could be played with 1,2,4, or 8 decks. Single deck blackjack (live version) is becoming a thing of the past. Most games are dealt from a shoe, which means they are 4 or 8 deck games. The more decks involved, the lower your changes of winning consistently. You can still win at shoe games, but you want to play at single deck or double deck games if possible. There are still many double deck games around. If you play online, it’s important to ask so you know how many decks they are using.
The game starts with the dealer dealing two cards in a clockwise fashion starting with the player on his or her left. One card is dealt to each player at a time. The dealer will show one of his or her cards. This is called an up-card. Once the dealing is complete, the first player to the left of the dealer is first to act. The dealer will always be the last to act-this gives casinos the edge. If you are brand-new to the game, imagine that the dealer has an 8,9 or 10 under his up-card. Once you get the feel of the game, it’s time to move onto more advanced card techniques.
When it is your turn, you have a few options. You could hit, which means to request another card. You could stand, which means to stay where you are and pass. You could double down, which means to double your bet and take one last card. This option can only be performed if you have not taken a hit yet. You can also double for less if you like. If your first two cards match-like two 8’s-you can split them and make two hands, which also means you double your wager.
Each card is worth the number printed on it. The face cards are worth ten, and an Ace is worth 1 or 11-your choice. After all, players take their turn, the dealer turns over the unseen card. Most houses make the dealer stand on 17. If the dealer has less than this number, he or she hits the hand and continues to do so until the count is at least the stand amount or the hand busts. Blackjack is a fun game that’s easy to learn and profitable.
