It doesn’t take an Internet analyst to notice that online gambling has taken over a big chunk of the online activity that people participate in on a day to day basis. There are several reasons for this and the fact that it is gaining more and more momentum is a testament to just how incredible this market is.
For starters, there is money and excitement; what else could anyone want? Online gambling is quickly becoming the chosen method of online gaming across the globe. The strength that online gambling is showing is quickly surpassing mainstream gambling halls and casinos. The reason for this quick expansion is obvious. It is much more accessible for the average gamer to log on to their favorite online gambling site and play from the comfort of their homes as opposed to having to travel to a place where gambling is held.
Of course, as with everything there is a ceiling that eventually must be reached. There will be a point when the industry will reach a critical mass and will be unable to sustain the growth that it’s experiencing right now. At what point that ceiling will be reached is anyone’s guess and with new players coming on board everyday, coupled with more and more casinos springing up, they are pushing that ceiling further and further away. But there will be a time that that ceiling is inevitably reached. And that is a good thing.
Once the ceiling on the growth of the online casino world has been reached and there is no more growth of players or casinos the time will be ripe for more sophisticated games and gaming systems to be produced. Now try to follow me here. Once there is no more upward growth there will inevitably be outward growth.
Right now there are casinos cashing in on the ever increasing customer base by simply throwing together a mediocre gaming program and setting up shop. Once the industry has reached critical mass these mediocre online casino operations will be put out of business by better models that are more sophisticated and therefore able to attract players away from lesser sophisticated online casinos. Therefore, it is in the best interest of all online casino gamblers to hope that the industry stops swelling. The only people that won’t benefit from this is the lesser casino operators using lesser operating systems. Survival of the fittest is constantly at play in many systems and the online casino industry is no different.
With more and more online casino gamblers coming on board there is no way that the industry as a whole won’t continue to be able to take advantage of all that the future holds.

You’ve probably noticed that Real Time Gaming, or any online gambling site, doesn’t use real cards. You have probably wondered at some point how the website is able to generate random card patterns that mimic actual game play without using real cards. The way that Real Time Gaming is able to produce random card combinations is through the use of a random number generator. Random number generators are not only used in cards games either. They use them in any portion of the game that requires an element of chance. For example, when you are playing Craps online, there is a random number generator that is producing the results of the dice. This is beneficial for a player to understand before playing.
As you might have guessed by now it is absolutely essential for Real Time Gaming to use the most high quality random number generator that they possibly can. They must do this to get as close to absolute randomness as technologically possible. There is quite a bit of technical details that effect absolute randomness and it is helpful for a player to understand some of the basics on how randomness is intentionally generated so that they can more fully understand how the game is played.
There are two basic types of random number generators that are typically used. The most common random number generator is based on a mathematical formula and is typically the easiest to produce. Obviously, the quality of the random number generator is based on how well the mathematical algorithm is written and implemented.
Another common random number generation method is the use of atmospheric noise, much like the white noise that you might hear on a radio with no station. This is obviously more difficult to re-create on the gambling format, however, the application is still a viable one.
There are then primarily two major concerns that a gambling website, like Real Time Gaming, must look at prior to choosing a random number generator that is high quality enough for their demanding players; you and me. The first item that must be considered has been discussed before, to be able to re-create randomness as closely as possible as to mimic the toss of a deck of real cards, or the flip of a coin. There are many high quality random number generators that are mathematically written that are able to do very well. In fact it would take the keenest observations to tell if there was a subtle aberration in the algorithm that might skew the results.
Another very important consideration that Real Time Gaming must take into account before selecting a random number generator is that of security. Any program that can be written can be cracked and therefore can be skewed in favor of a player without the best of intentions. Real Time Gaming understands this and has opened their random number generators to third party testing to alleviate our security concerns.

The world of online gambling is growing by leaps and bounds. It’s so darn convenient too. However, if you are not careful you could run into trouble. The Internet is full of great and reputable online casinos. It’s not all good. There are criminals swimming around-just like any industry. The purpose of this article is to give you a couple of tips to help you avoid being ripped off at a rogue casino outfit.
Tip One: Deposit Methods
Any reputable online gambling destination will accept deposits in a wide variety of ways. Stay away from any online gambling site that only wants cash, check or wire. The best casinos will gladly accept deposits from credit cards and third party services (like NETeller and FirePay). I highly recommend that you use a third party service for all your deposits. By doing so, you will limit the places that have your financial information. It’s better that an online casino just has your third party info than your checking account or credit card data.
There are other third party services out there, but these two are very well known and secure. You won’t find one solid online casino that doesn’t accept deposits from at least one of these sources.
Tip Two: Deposit Amounts
A major tip off of a bad casino is the amount of money required for a deposit. Great online casinos will take minimal deposits (some as low as $5). However, criminals can’t afford to take people $5 at a time, because word will get out before they can really score. Therefore, they tend to require larger deposits-perhaps $100 minimums or more. Don’t think that just because a casino takes $5 deposits that they are legitimate. You must do your research.
Tip Three: Reputation
This step can take a little longer, because you are searching for comments about the online casino. Head over to your favorite search engine and type in their name to see what comes up. What you are looking for are comments from people about the casino. Many of these comments will be on message forums. Here’s a quick hint. Try some searches where you add the words scam, rip off, arrested, complaint, illegal, or pay after the casino’s name. For instance, a search in your favorite search engine might be “casino name scam.”
Gambling online is very convenient and fun. Like any other industry on the Internet, gambling has its share of crooks. That should not stop you from enjoying yourself. Do your research and follow these tips. You can greatly eliminate your chances of being ripped off by utilizing the steps in these tips. I have yet to find an instance where the solid practices in these tips has failed to yield positive results. Now get out there and win some money!

Have you ever invested your time and money into an Internet gambling site only to end up losing plenty of both? I sure have. I have personally played on sites where I have spent hours playing the free gaming software that they provide. I was hoping that I could practice on their site, using their gaming program, before placing any real money on the table. I figured that it would give me the edge when the money was on the line. Plus, it was fun to play.
So after I finished putting hours into the gaming program of my choice, usually Blackjack, I would sign up for the real gaming action and put some money on the line. Not exorbitant amounts of cash or anything, but cold hard cash. What would soon befall me was a harsh wake up call. Not all gaming programs are built equally and not all gaming sites are honest. There are a very substantial percentage of online casinos that are just vacuums waiting to suck up every single dime that you and I are willing to toss into its hungry maw.
In a way those lost dollars were simply payment for the education that I got from my misfortune. I wouldn’t have necessarily minded losing the money, because unfortunately that is bound to happen from time to time when gambling, it was how I lost it. I was troubled by the speed and cold mechanical efficiency of how quickly I was fleeced. I would play the free version for literally an hour or so with the balance either increasing, or very slowly decreasing. After I switched to the money version of the game I was cleaned out in a matter of minutes. In fact minutes would be a bit of an overstatement. It literally left my eyes spinning as I watched hand after hand be won by the “dealer” without so much as a small bone thrown to me to make me think that there was even the most remote chance of actually winning any money.
Of course, after this happened the first time I chocked it up to bad luck or lack of skill. So I practiced some more and laid down some more money. The following events were an exact duplicate of the previous hands and I was left with even less money and a severe distrust of online gambling sites. I figured that all online gambling casinos were the same and that there was no realistic chance of winning anything. I assumed that it would be fine to play free games but to not ever disillusion myself into thinking that I could make any money at it.
Thankfully after my bad start I did find that there are very solid, reputable, and fair online gambling sites. It is now easier than ever to find a good site and by finding one that has a solid random number generator and third party testing we really can’t go wrong.
